While browsing the World Wide Web for natural weight loss techniques, I came across the idea of weight loss and detox, and wondered "where can I find some detox diet recipe."

Lots of people are having difficulty losing weight, me included. I've tried going on a fad diet and exercising, but neither proved to be of any help. I'm eating almost nothing, and walking my way to the office almost everyday, and still, I'm not able to shed off the unwanted fat. So I decided to make a quick search on the internet if it's possible to lose weight without exercising or dieting, and that's how I came to discover the link between weight loss and detox. Apparently, our body collects toxins everyday and these accumulate over time.

You might be wondering how toxins are related to weight management. You see, toxins carry some weight, too. In fact, according to many health experts themselves, the body has over 10 pounds or more of toxins upon death. Another likely explanation is that as the toxins accumulate in the body, they somehow affect the function of the organs of the body, particularly the digestive system of the body, resulting to a sluggish metabolism, and you know for sure that a sluggish metabolism is linked to weight gain.

While you can make do without really exercising (although you really need some form of activity, no matter!), dieting is always essential. It's not fad dieting this time, though, but detox dieting, the kind that would enable you to cleanse your body of toxins and help you lose weight at the same time.

So now, "where can I find some detox diet recipe"? There is a sea of options, for sure, but I have to focus on sites I believe to be reliable, sites which have real experts writing about detox diet recipes and the like.

What I came across with really surprised me. The ultimate detox diet recipes are actually very simple. Take the olive oil detox recipe for instance, wherein the only ingredient you need is olive oil and the only process involved is to take it twice a day. Olive oil is a natural lubricant, besides being endowed with many health benefits, and taking olive oil helps the digestive system flush out the toxins from the body. The olive oil detox recipe should be done only once a week, however, else your next problem could be diarrhea or mood swings.

If you are not diabetic, you can try the fruit detox recipe using apples and carrots or peaches. To prepare, simply wash 2 or 3 green apples, 1 carrot, and some fresh basil leaves, cut them into smaller pieces, and take their juice out using a fruit juicer. If you don't have apples and carrots, do the same trick with peaches, but without the basil leaves.

There are people who go on a 3-day fast with nothing but water to cleanse their system. Health practitioners, however, advise against this kind of thing as this doesn't leave you with energy.

I'm sharing all these pieces of information so you yourself will not find the need to ask, "where can I find some detox diet recipe?"

Here is my breakfast Low Carb cooking video where I make my favorite low carb pancake recipe. This isn’t Induction friendly due to the Baking mix, but you could substitute some almond flour to make it Extended Induction legal. (There is an understanding by some Dr. A said they (nuts) could be added after 14 days.) Here's the recipe: * 8oz pkg cream cheese * 3 eggs * 3 tsp Splenda or equivalent liquid Splenda * 1/4 cup Atkins Bake Mix *recipe below * 1/2 tsp baking powder * 1/2 tsp vanilla * 1/4 cup Heavy Cream or buttermilk Beat cream cheese with mixer until blended smooth. Add the remaining ingredients, and let sit for 5 minutes. Preheat non-stick pan to med/high heat. Spray pan with non stick spray and use 1/4 cup measure per pancake. Yield 10 pancakes. For Pancake Syrup, I recommend Maple Grove Farms Sugar Free syrup ( bit.ly ) Nutrition Info: Total Calories 107, Fat: 10g, Carbs: 1.7g, Protein: 4g

In another recipe coming out of Jennifer Eloff’s awesome low carb cookbook, Splendid Low Carbing, I prepare a food that I probably would have swore I would never eat — eggplant. In just another one of those amazing things that low carb lifestyle brought to me, my taste buds have changed. I now like eggplant well enough to voluntarily eat it. Here’s a link to Jennifer’s website: www.low-carb.us Ingredients: 1 Medium Eggplant, thinly sliced 1 cup of grated parmesan 2 eggs 1 pound ground beef, browned 8 oz Sausage, browned 2 cloves garlic 1.5 cups of No Sugar Added Spaghetti Sauce 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, shredded 1. Thinly slice eggplant, and put in egg wash. 2. Coat eggplant in Parmesan cheese 3. Heat oil in frying pan, and once hot, fry eggplant 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown. 4. Brown ground beef and sausage. Once drained, add garlic and spaghetti sauce and heat for 5 minutes while finishing frying eggplant slices. 5. Layer the eggplant, meat mixture, and cheese to form 3 layers. Optional - dust top with excess Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Makes 6 servings: Nutrition info per serving: 456 Calories, 33g Fat, 9.3 Total Carbs ( minus 3.3g fiber), 30g Protein. (IF = Induction Friendly)

In this video, I demonstrate that good Italian is indeed possible on Atkins or a low carb diet. The unique ingredient in this Low Carb Chicken Broccoli Alfredo is the cream cheese in the sauce. As I mentioned in the video, there are lots of different options for to place the sauce on: — Spaghetti Squash (demonstrated in the video) — Dreamfield Pasta www.amazon.com — or one of my favorite, Riced Cauliflower. INGREDIENTS (Nutrition) * 1/2 cup butter * 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (low fat acceptable) * 1 teaspoons garlic powder * 1 clove garlic * 1 cup heavy cream * 1/2 cup water * 1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese * 3 ounces shredded Parmesan cheese * 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper DIRECTIONS 1. Quarter the Spaghetti Squash, and place in pot to cook for 20 minutes. 2. Fry chicken breast in olive oil, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning 3. Melt butter in a medium, non-stick saucepan over medium heat. Add cream cheese and garlic powder, stirring with wire whisk until smooth. Add water. Add cream, a little at a time, whisking to smooth out lumps. Stir in Parmesan and pepper. Remove from heat when sauce reaches desired consistency. Sauce will thicken rapidly, thin with additional cream if cooked too long. 4. Cook Broccoli. 5. Cut up chicken breasts and combine with broccoli and alfredo sauce. Serves 8+ people. Nutrition Facts: (based upon 8) Calories 470, 38g Fat, 3.7g Total Carbs (.8g Fiber), 28g Protein (IF = Induction Friendly)

I wanted to do a new low carb video to welcome in the new year. These were a big hit at all my holiday family functions even with my non-low carbing family members. The original recipe can be found here: www.genaw.com 1/2 cup unsalted butter 1/2 cup Natural Peanut Butter 2 ounces softened cream cheese 1 cup Splenda 2/3 cup Vanilla Whey protein powder * Microwave the butter and peanut butter on HIGH for 1 minutes; mix thoroughly. * Mix in the cream chees * Add the Splenda and the whey protein powder until well combined. * Line a 8 x 8" baking pan with nonstick foil. Spread the fudge and press out with another nonstick piece of foil or plastic wrap. * Chill for one hour. Makes around 20 pieces. Nutritional Info: Per Piece - 95.7 Calories, 8.55g of Fat (4g Sat), 3.5g of Protein, 2.3g Carbs (1.9g Net Carbs)
