I love this exercise, am on your plan for about a week now and have added this dextrose carb stuff to my stack and my chest is definitely looking fuller. And I have put on close to .5 inches onto my arms! Your plan really works bro, and would recommend it to anyone looking for some serious mass. Am finally up to 150lbs even. 3 lbs in a week. Great results, stay tight bro.

    Are you not sopposed to keep your elbows in at about 45 degrees? I used to bench with my elbows flaring but someone told me the “right” way was to tick my elbows in a bit. Then again you are doing decline.

  4. @AYjames91 You really never want to extend all the way with most muscles, it’ll either injure you, or you’ll get significantly reduced return just because that last bit of movement is far from difficult. Sort of like with curls where bringing the weights as close to you as possible is kind of a waste because at a certain point, you stop really getting any serious resistance.

    I’m pretty sure pec min is a major (pardon the pun 😀 ) player in the dip exercise.

    Anyway, not to come across as rude or anything but what’s your point? That it’s not worth training because you don’t think it is involved in other exercises?

  13. @yared94 Pectoralis minor isn’t really doing a whole lot in any chest exercise except for variations of flies.

    Because of the angle, it incorporates both the pectoralis major and pectoralis minor.

    Try to position ur elbows a little lower towards your feet. It will take some stress of your shoulders and target your chest that much more. 🙂

    Shouldn’t you be extending your arms fully at the top of the exercise, to be pretty much straight? Or is this not important?
