Thank you; I really needed to hear this! I have been doing OK on a high raw diet for 9 months or so but every time I start to really think about what I’m doing, I panic and have visions of steak on the grill, macaroni and cheese, chocolate cake. And I didn’t even eat those things that often. It’s just the thought that I can’t have them. I fear I could fall off the wagon and start binging at any moment 🙂 That’s why motivational talks like yours are so important!

I eat fairly healthy, but I often think too much about what I’m NOT eating. I’ve been vegan for 8 months now and I get a little hung up on that sometimes. I just encourage people to eat mostly whole foods like you do, whether it be vegan or animal products. Less processed is def better!

  10. I used tobe a rawfood vegan & for a while i felt great but over time it cause major deficiancies & damage to my health. I practiced it very religiously & did all the right things. then i discovered weston a price and became a balanced omnivore, iv never felt so great in my life!! i wasnt depressed, anemia and b deficiancy all corrected themselves! raw food vegan isnt for everyone, i still eat raw food but i also eat organice animals products..i feel better than ever.

  11. Since u said u have added meat/animal products to your diet, would you please make some recipe vids on what you are eating now..this would be really helpful. thanks

you can be my girlfriend and make me healthy thank you

  13. Great advice 🙂 the focus is everything. I simply can’t believe that some people would rather focus on missing out on some dry bread served with cheap salami than focus on eating the best stuff available – Fresh, sweet, beautiful, delicious, nutritious fruits and vegetables. How does it get any better than that???

  14. A few months ago you told us about your B12 deficiency if I am correct. Has that cleared up completely by now?

@JoJoB4553 It’s probably all the sun she gets in Thailand.

Very sound advice. I’m vegan trying to transition to raw, and what you said is exactly the mental journey I had to go through to be able to do it. Also an online buddy really really helps, in the first few weeks of transition.

Thank you so much for making these videos… they’ve helped me a lot! I have a question! I’m 15, not raw yet (I’m going 90% this summer). I’m trying to lose 10-15 pounds. I don’t want to wait until summer to lose the weight, but I’ve been trying since about September and I’m still the same. I have an insane appetite .. I think I could eat all day and not stop. XD I’m almost always hungry two hours after a meal. Have any advice? An idea for why I’m so hungry and don’t lose weight? Thanks!!!

  19. great advice. i needed to hear this = )

  20. ANOTHER KEY ASPECT OF THIS IS TRANSITION AND DIRECTION. THE IDEA IS THAT LET’S SAY YOUR CURRENT DIRECTION IS A GOAL TO ACHIEVE A 100% RAW DIET. THE NEXT ISSUE IS TRANSITION, MEANING HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET THERE. IT COULD TAKE A MONTH, A DAY OR A YEAR….ALSO YOUR DIRECTION COULD CHANGE TO MAYBE WANTING A 90% RAW DIET. SO THE IDEA THERE IS TO KEEP A BALANCE WHERE YOU ARE UPGRADING OVER TIME AT WHATEVER SPEED WORKS FOR YOU IN A MANNER THAT IS SUSTAINABLE

Hi Natasha, thank you for the great advice!

  22. You are SO awesome, Natasha. I’ve been dealing with this issue lately… I’ve been on a journey to becoming 100% raw (I’m now fully vegetarian, yay!), and instead of feeling deprived of what I’m leaving behind, I feel excited about all of the new foods I’m trying. Each day is a new opportunity to try something new. 🙂 Thank you for your positive vibes! 🙂

  23. @JoJoB4553 I’m guessing 1. being in the sun and 2. swimming in the ocean.

  24. Thank you so much! You made this video right on time!
I’ve been following a high raw diet for a while now and have been enjoying it, however my mother asked me to make her a list of foods I dont eat. I made that list and actually kept one for myself and kept refferring to it at least once a day. As soon as I started to do so I started to slip. My mind became filled with “no, no, no!” and I lost perspective.
I’m going to throw away that list and focus on eating well again! 🙂
    Thank you! <3

  25. Remind me of an old song called “Accentuate the Positive”. Let’s see if I can find it.
